In some cases I'd like to startup the platform without any file. Is there a way (i.e. - using a shortcut) to startup without any file?

It would be useful to be able to do this while also retaining use of custom studies.

A solution could be allowing 'chartbook collections' to open on startup, and being able to easily add/remove 'chartbook collections' from the startup list.

What we will do is add an option to Global Settings >> General Settings to disable the use of the list of files to open on startup.

This still requires the user to have to initially load up all the startup files and the platform to be able to change this setting, and then restart, which defeats the purpose. It would be more useful to be able to select this option from the initial login/program start as an alternative option to safe mode.

Any update? Still have to fully load SC, then remove which chartbooks to open, then re-start. Why not add the option at the initial startup menu?

You can prevent Chartbooks from automatically opening by enabling "Safe Mode" on the Login window of Sierra Chart.

Then one still has to load it up, change the options, then restart it again in regular mode to use custom studies.

Why not just add a startup option to not load chartbooks?

Even better, allow user to select 'groups' of which chartbooks are needed to load on startup.
