Hello,

At present with other software, I have a large number of charts open. Each chart has studies that in part depend on alerts. These chars provide me a preliminary indication of a trade.

I have been able to successfully reproduce the foregoing in sc.

I have more sophisticated alerts that I enter ONLY on charts where probability of a trade has become high. Then I simply look at the alert manager that shows ONLY the more sophisticated alerts ( all other alerts are filtered out). I click on a symbol of interest in the alert manager and the symbol is entered in a set of VERY LARGE linked charts.

I am trying to duplicate this in SC. In SC alert manager, 1. I do not see a way to filter alerts 2. Go to Chart in sc can not be directed to my VERY Large charts or linked to specific charts.

I AM NOT HUNG UP ON THE WAY I HAVE BEEN DOING this. I need your help in accomplishing the objective, doing it differently is fine. I have already looked at the documentation.

Thanks for your outstanding support.

1. This is not supported but may come longer-term.

2. The Go to Chart command does work as documented:
Alerts Manager: Alert Manager Controls

If not, then tell us specifically what you are doing and what exactly is happening. However, it would be very unlikely there is any problem with this.

Hello,
1. Longer term is fine, I will try to find a work around.

2. Go to Chart works as documented. The implementation is excellent for someone following only handful of symbols on one screen.

It is not workable for someone following a large number of symbols on multiple screens. Losing the present symbol where the symbol with alert goes is not good. Moreover there is no way for a human being to remember where the alerted symbol was days ago when looking at multiple screens and large number of charts.

Please consider providing a simple option of linking Alert manager to charts in the same manner as charts are linked now. Only you know if it is easy to implement but it will definitely solve the problem.

If it is not too difficult, please consider implementing soon.

Thx
