Hello, In annotating charts I often use text in call out bubbles pointing to the right place on the chart. My present software let me easily pick among various options for pointing. I am looking under tools but not seeing a call out bubble. I see two text tools but no way to point the text to the right place on the chart. Am I missing something? |

You would have to use a combination of the Type Text drawing tool: Chart Drawing Tools: Type Text | Stationary Text And the Arrow drawing tool: Chart Drawing Tools: Arrow There is not one drawing tool that does both of these. Hello, I had tried the combination before posting here originally. It looks bad. There are only limited options with the arrow. This is a task I repeat several times a week. Automated as much as possible solutions are neededicated for tasks that are often repeated. So far SC has more features and flexibility than any other software I have seen. Hello, I have overall been happy with sc. It has now been over three months waiting for this feature. Can you please add this feature right away? This feature exists in every other competing program. NOT HAVING THIS FEATURE HAS COST ME OVER 10 HOURS OVER THE LAST 3 MONTHS. This is way excessive. Thank you in anticipation of your quick help. |

Text can now be added to an Arrow Chart Drawing on a chart by right clicking on the Arrow drawing and selecting Modify Text. This allows you to add text with an Arrow to point out something specific in a chart. We are going to add the capability to automatically prompt for text when using the Arrow drawing tool. Thx. This is better than nothing. However this comes nowhere near the clarity call outs with their own backgrounds provide. Obviously you agree as you extensively use call outs in your own documentation. Please consider call out bubbles. |
