Hi, 7yr Sierra user, have accumulated quite a few charts over the years. Currently my primary chart is just a 2 range bar intraday ES, with a couple moving averages and basic subgraphs, such as stochastics and MACD. The chart has always ranged from 275kb-400kb; something has happened in the last couple weeks of upgrades where it has grown in size to 2MB. I have added nothing to it. Again, just a single chart, with only 10 days of data, not 30 or 60. Any clue on why it has grown so massively with no changes? Thanks.

We are not sure how you are measuring this. We do not know how you can reliably measure this.

Assuming you have a reliable means to measure this, we are not sure about the increase in size.

When you click FILE -> SAVE AS it shows you all the saved charts and their sizes. The identical chart was saved 3wks ago under a different name, and is 279kb; since Sierra's newest version, it's now 3MB, a massive increase, even though nothing has changed with the chart, no new indicators or anything.

OK we see. You could have a lot Chart Drawings in the chart taking that space. It must be something.

Create a Chartbook with a new chart and save it. You will see the file size is 20 K.
