After installing the latest update, 996, SierraChart cannot connect to a running instance of TWS. I had previously been running with version 990 without any issues. I installed version 996 and SierraChart could not connect to TWS. The relevant error from the log looks to be the following: "Socket error on address resolution: Windows error code 11004: The requested name is valid, but no data of the requested type was found." I shut down and restarted my system and attempted to reconnect and the problem persisted. I performed a rollback to version 990 and connected to TWS with no problem. I reinstalled back to 996 and the problem has returned. The only variable here is the version of SierraChart that is running. I have the lastest API and TWS version (build 936.9g). |
