We're having an issue on one machine where daily or almost daily we receive
a message in SC that the computer clock is off by some large number of
seconds (it isn't off, and is set to the correct time in CST). I'm not
certain what the user is clicking on within SC at that point but the next
day, the time is set to 1 hour in the future and we have to set it back.

Is there something in SC that actually changes the computer clock such that
it might end up at the wrong time for its time zone? If so, what setting
should we check to try to isolate this?

We can't think of any other explanation, and the user reports that they get
this message about every day so I'm not sure if SC is reporting the
difference or is the source of the change.

This is an indication that the computers TimeZone is not set correctly.

The setting is: Global Settings >> General Settings >> Periodically Set System Day-Time from Server.
