It appears that all data is being reloaded (downloaded?) when i bring up sierra charts each day. Is there a setting that only loads the missing data from where it left off from the previous sierra chart usage? This may be fine but for a few chart where I have hundreds of days to load this takes some time to do when I start up in the morning. Is this time being taken for "loading" the already downloaded data into the chart for each contract? Or is it downloads each time? Thanks |

Definitely the data is only being loaded from the local data file. Only the data that is missing from the chart is downloaded. This section makes that clear: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_HistoricalIntradayData.html#MissingOrIncompleteIntradayChartData Also refer to: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/helpdetails30.html Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
