Cant install C++ compiler

Hi, I had to do a fresh install on my PC but now I'm unable to install the C++ compiler using the "Install Compiler" option. Could you please help me with this. Thanks

I don't know how to do that. Could you please give me some pointers. I do see an exe file. My apologies if this is a trivial question. Thanks in advance

i see the compiler is installed in the SC directory but I cant seem to build any studies. And when I click on "Install Compiler" I get the error below...

When you build an advanced custom studies source code file, copy and paste here the text from the Build Output window so we can see what the problem is. Those errors you see when installing the compiler might be normal and not cause a problem because sometimes there are errors which do not cause a problem. For reasons which we do not know the cause of, you are having a problem installing the compiler on your system. Looks like some kind of HTTP connection issue.
