I have been using CQG with Sierra for months and this problem has only started this morning. The DOM and Charts are not updating in realtime. If I disconnect & reconnect it downloads data to update the chart but is then stuck on the last price and does not update in realtime. It seems to refresh itself & download historical data every few minutes but no realtime updates.

Are CQG having data problems this morning?

Find attached the log from this morning.

Just updated Sierra to the latest version and now the data feed will not even connect.

I have checked the data settings & they are correct, this configuration has been working for months and I have not changed anything.

Find attached a new log recorded after the update showing no connection at all to CQG

After updating Sierra and restarting the PC all seems to be working again. So I will tentatively say the problem is solved.

I didn't receive a notification about the update being available, is there a setting for this? Have I somehow suppressed it?

Not sure why you were not receiving real-time data previously. The Message Log does not indicate a problem when we examined any CQG error for F.US.EPH16

The connection problem apparently was due to a firewall:
CQG FIX: Connecting to fixapi.cqgtrader.com. Port: 6912. | 2016-02-02 10:25:35
socket (0) | Resolved address fixapi.cqgtrader.com to IP 208.48.16.214 | 2016-02-02 10:25:35

Depending upon what version of Sierra Chart you are running, you may not have been given a notice to update and it would not be necessary if there was no notice. But it is still a good idea. However, maybe CQG changed something making it necessary.

Unfortunately it happened again today. Occasionally throughout the day the realtime data will stop, maybe for 30 seconds then resume and download the data it missed.

Attached is the log from today
I have check my firewall and Sierra is allowed (additionally this has been working for months and I haven't changed anything)

The CQG server closed the connection. Many users have been reporting this over the last two weeks when using CQG. CQG has been advised of it.
