Characteristic of Limit Orders In Chart Trade Mode

I use SC's chart trade mode (with IQ data/IB Broker). When I drag and drop a limit order on my chart it quickly snaps back to where it was and then immediately snaps back to where I have dropped it. Because the chart trade mode has always worked in this way for me, I have accepted this as 'normal', but not the most desirable. I'd rather the limit order would stay put where I drop it without the snap back and forth.

Now, I just completed helping a friend get set up with SC. He also uses SC/IB and trades the same instrument(s) that I do. I notice that when he drags and drops a limit order in chart trade mode it does stay put where he drops it - there is no snap back to where it came from followed by a snap back to where he dropped it. As far as I know, all of his settings are the same as mine (I set them up).

Do you have a suggestion of an adjustment I can make to prevent my chart limit orders from snapping back and forth as they are? Thanks much.

We have an idea how this can be solved. We will implement this in the next release and see how it goes. Should be fine.

Pre Release V993 certainly did fix this issue. Thank you very much!

I notice in V993 that when I click on the right chart scale to access the scale menu, the check mark that indicates what mode the scale is in is no longer visible.
