Hi

to all that are using CQG ,please i need your help, could you check if there is a loss of data you are received?
I'm comparing 1 min. chart of different instruments between SC charts and NT charts, NT has CQG as datafeed too, and every day on SC charts there are wrong candles.
why do i assume that SC charts are wrong ?
because after delete and download data candles on SC charts are redrawn and are identical to NT charts.
i check everything on my PC,and SC configuration and found nothing that can interfere, clock is synced every 3 min.
they aren't lots of candles , in all session less than 10 are wrong , but it's annoying and i think to change to Rithmic if i don't find a solution.
Rithmic users please give me your feedback about it .
I'd like to know about as it works in real-time data and historical back-fill , i think it uses SC data.

thanks

Make sure you have Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Other Settings >> Allow Server to Drop Data set to false.

To our knowledge that is the only setting which would cause a problem like this.

I don't have problems like you do with CQG. But from my personal experience CQG feed is better than Rithmic and to my knowledge CQG matches some other professional feeds. I found Rithmic real-time volumes and bid/ask trades data not always matching those of CQG. Not sure, but I always thought a backfill should come from SC when using Rithmic. I also tried NT with both feeds and they don't match there as well. The only advantage of Rithmic for me is free EUREX (not sure about data quality though but I don't care that much about that b/c I don't trade EUREX contracts intraday). Fills are acceptable with both CQG and Rithmic (but the best fills I get with Interactive Brokers).
