In order to get the benefit of Rithmic's server side OCO, I made few AHK scripts that pull data from SC and insert the orders thru R|Trader. In SC I made a trading system that gives me all the Break Even and Trailstop capabilities, plus lots of manual moving of stops and targets via keyboard macros (using a Logitech G13 keypad). The problem is that when in live mode everything works fine, but on SIM mode in SC, once I move the targets/stops via Acsil, SC ignores them. The Trade Position Lines are on the chart, but the price just passes beyond either of them. Once price goes over my stoploss/target, nothing happens, but if I move them again via the same macro then it right away registers and flats that trade (since of course price is now beyond the stoploss/target). * Obviously in Live mode it works fine since Rithmic's servers tell SC when a stop/target got filled. I think I got a direction: My charts on this SC instance are from remote data file. Doing sim trading on a non "remote data file" SC instance works fine. So, I added a chart with local data file (to the SC copy with the remote data file charts) and now this SC sees the stops/targets even when moved via acsil on the "remote data file" charts. This of course ruins part of the reason why we use remote data files. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2013-06-24 20:20:00
