I am trying to switch over all of my charting platforms into Sierra Charts from Market Delta.

I can configure Sierra Charts numbers bars with the ask/bid volume difference to show the same values as the Market Delta footprint. However, I am having no luck with the shading matching Market Deltas automatic default.

For example, where I may have a fourth level deep red on Sierra Charts it may be a third level lighter red on Market Delta. Do you have the configuration settings to duplicate Market Deltas defaults?

I am assuming it is a combination of Numbers Bars Text, Background Coloring Method, Range Up/Down Colors and Compare Thresholds.

I am using the Ask/Bid Volume Difference based on Ask Volume/ Bid Volume Percentage. I have manually adjusted the colors to be similar and the other settings are default. Please advise. Thank you.

No we do not.

How the coloring works for "Ask Volume and Bid Volume Difference Percentage Coloring" is thoroughly documented here:

2 enhancements for number bar background coloring that MarketDelta has, which i hope SC can do are:

1) market delta has 5 shades instead of 4...

Any chance we can get and extra Range Color?

currently:
Column 1 Range 3 Up Color
Column 1 Range 2 Up Color
Column 1 Range 1 Up Color
Column 1 Range 0 Up Color
Column 1 Range 0 Down Color
Column 1 Range 1 Down Color
Column 1 Range 2 Down Color
Column 1 Range 3 Down Color

Is it possible to add:
- Column 1 Range 4 Up Color
- Column 1 Range 4 Down Color

2) it is much easier to read market delta's footprint charts because their footprint bid x ask text colors are set to contrast with the footprint background color

for example:
- if the Range 0 Up (dark green) and Range 0 Down (dark red), the default text would show up in white
- at the opposite end, if the Range 3 Up (light green) and Range 3 Down (light red), the default text would show up in black

would it be possible for SC to do something like this?

thank you SC for your awesome product and support!

With regards to Post #4:
Item 1: Although it is possible for us to make the change, we have a lot of things that we are working on. We will keep track of this request, but do not expect to see if any time soon.

Item 2: This already exists in the system, although it is manual change that has to be made and is not done automatically by the system. There are two ways to do this:

First, on the Numbers Bars study, you can change the Default Text Color - Numbers Bars: Default Text Color

Second, you can setup the text to use the same Coloring option as the background and then set the Use Separate Colors for Text Coloring Method and set the colors as needed to contrast with the chosen Background coloring - Numbers Bars: Use Separate Colors for Text Coloring Method
