I would like to request the point and figure charts use close only as an option and the ability to place 45 deg trend lines.

We will see about this Point and Figure Chart request.

Also to draw a 45° line, refer to this section here:https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_Tools.html#Angle

So to get an accurate grid to place a 45 degree line on my point and figure chart with a box size of .0005 (5 pips) I would set currency value per tick to .0001 ( 1 pip) and value increment per bar to 5?

What would you consider one unit of price? .0005?

.0005 ( 5 pips ) is my box size for the point and figure. This is for forex.

I have set my tick size to .0001 ( 1 pip ) in chart settings >> main settings >> tick size:
Then I set currency value per tick to .0001 ( 1 pip ) in chart settings >> advanced 2 >> currency value per tick:
Finally I set value increment per bar in ticks to ( 5 ) in chart settings >> advanced 2 >> value increment per bar in ticks:

These seem to be the right settings for accurate 45's.

Also I am noticing that on my 3 box reversal chart I am getting
2 box reversals sometimes instead of 3 and this is happening on all my 3 box reversal charts. Attached file.

Yes, those settings are correct for a 45° angle.

You cannot look at the number of boxes in a column to determine the reversal amount. What you see is normal. Here is the documentation for how the study works:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_TechnicalStudiesReference.html#s140

If the study were to not allow a reversal until there are the number of boxes in a column which equals the reversal amount, there would never be a reversal under some conditions. It would not make any sense.
