There is only one commission setting in Sierra Chart and that is through the Global Symbol Settings. This is documented here:

yes, I know. Here's what happens when I select commissions:

1. Global settings/Symbol settings/Additional tab
2. CL.######00.CME_NY selected
3. All fields are automatically filled in, including $3.68 Round Turn Commission
4. Click 'OK'
5. Exit the page
6. Return to the page to see if the changes took effect.
7. Fields are again blank.

This is very unusual. We have never heard this before. We tested this just now and could not reproduce the problem.

6. At this step, did you select the same symbol that you did at step 2? If so, then we recommend performing a Full Reset of the Symbol Settings:

And after that, set the commission again. There really should be no problem with this at all.

I am connected to Topstep if that makes any difference. Is there any way to check if commissions have been taken from a trade? Maybe it's working? Should the commission fees be visible if I return to the page to check?

At this point, it is not clear what problem you are currently having.

You absolutely should have no trouble whatsoever having the Round Turn Commission setting being saved especially after performing a Full Reset of the Global Symbol Settings.

If you are we will need to use remote assistance to confirm this problem.
