Question 1: It appears a chart must have focus in order for a study on said chart to receive ACS Button Events. Is that true?

Question 2: Is it possible to assign a specific ACS Button to a specific chart (with ACSIL or otherwise) so that only studies on that specific chart will receive button events from that specific button, whether or not the specific chart has focus or whether or not the chartbook containing the specific chart is selected?

Question 3: If the answer to Question 2 is No, can that option be added?

1. We have to look into this, but thinking about it this does make sense.

Really all studies should be notified of this, but it is not efficient. So probably a study should request notifications of ACS Buttons by setting a flag.

2. No.

3. Possibly, but this is the kind of thing that we would consider later on next year when we do a lot of work on ACSIL. Probably all of this will be rethought over and improvements will be made. But we think the best solution, is what we described in 1. So we will think that over and if it makes sense it will be implemented.

It would be great if you could put a button on the chart itself, and position it like you via ascil code... it wont move, then each chart could have its own appropriate button(s). and show appropriate states if need be.
