Letting you know that we finally implemented a permanent solution to this packet loss issue which was causing temporary discrepancies on the Sierra Chart servers of the number of trades for the CME data. The solution was deployed on Friday 2016-01-22 and ran flawlessly for the CME symbols. Just now we have implemented a solution for CBOT, NYMEX and COMEX. So we do acknowledge that there has been a minor packet loss issue causing discrepancies but this is now permanently solved. Thank You for Informing me. It would be really helpfull to me to integrate back you data feed due to the easy of your payment methods, since I live in Greece and its much easier to transfer every now and then what the banks allows me to. So, my IQFeed subscription ends at the end of February. Is there a Chance I could have a trial for 4-5 days of CME and Eurex,to test them out, so as to subscribe again at the end of February? Thank You!! |

There is no trial of the data feed, but if you activate the data feed near the end of the month the data feed connection itself is prorated. The vendor of record and the exchanges do not allow trials when you have already used the data feed. It is not possible for there to be any discrepancy any longer, other than when initially connecting to the data feed and the initial historical Intraday data download is done. Although this problem exists with IQ Feed as well. It is not something which is often encountered. Regarding the above, we will explain this in the documentation in the next couple of days. It is a problem that is solvable and we will eventually get to that but we do not think you would even encounter it under usual conditions. During the trading day, when you re-download the Intraday data from a point in time in the chart after the initial connection you will not notice any change in the number of trades or volume. I Just activated the data feed, and payed for the CME. As I have not used from your services the EUREX exchange, can I have a trial for that one? Thank You. |
