Moving Average Studies will not save or work after import

I recently decided to reset my computer to its factory settings. I have Sierra chart saved on separate hard drive. All my chartbooks work but when I try to add a saved study that I made in the past it will not load. These are mostly studies involving moving averages. I tried to reinstall the studies from a second backup of Sierra chart and still no luck. Then when I try to recreate these studies with moving averages, in almost all cases they will not save as a study to later be added to a chart with 1 click.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Are you referring to Study Collections?:

Check the Window >> Show/Hide Message Log for any errors with Study Collections when you are using them.

No. These are simple studies I have made such as 8-21 exponential moving averages. I had over a dozen saved that no longer work.

When you select the Study Collection name from the Analysis menu, is there any error message displayed in the Message Log (Window >> Show/ Hide Message Log) in response to that?

We assume you are seeing the Study Collections listed on the Analysis menu?

Attach one of your Study Collection files here by following these instructions:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#AttachFile

They will be located in the C:\SierraChart\Data folder

These study collections which are listed on the Analysis menu. I just noticed that the 2 uploads have no studies within them. I tried to create a new one called 3-10-20 ema ands that also is not working. It appears that the studies are not "saving" OR they are not being located when I pull them up under Analysis.

I used to have Version 1261 and in my clean computer I installed version 1264 prerelease last week. I don't quite understand the old spreadsheet/new spreadsheet difference but could that have something to do with it? Maybe I have the wrong version. I have never had any difficulties with Sierra Chart since 2011. Your software is so reliable and never freezes, etc.

As a reminder, I think the only studies affected have moving averages in them. Many others studies still work that use Parabolic and Ichimoku only.

Not sure this matters, but update Sierra Chart to the current version by following the instructions here:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/download.php#FastUpdate

We tried this study collection:

3-10-20 ema.StdyCollct

And saw the Moving Averages study display without a problem on the chart.
