Hello, I decided to evaluate SierraChart because I hit his structure with spreadsheets inside, which enables a bidirectional data flow, from SierraChart to the spreadsheet and from the spreadsheet to SierraChart. However, considering the functions provided by the spreadsheet, I noticed that they are only part of those found in Excel. In fact, I expect to find all the functions of Excel! In particular, all those financial. So the question I ask to the technical support is this: how can I take advantage of the beautiful idea of spreadsheets integrated without renounce to a part of the functions of Excel?
For example if you wanted to calculate the yield to maturity of a bond with semi-annual coupons given the price (for example, the futures price), and redemption at maturity (typically 100) I can do this now with Excel easy, but with spreadsheets integrated in SierraChart, there isn't this function.
So, the question is:
The only solution is to jump integrated spreadsheets and pass the data to Excel, or is there a way to expand the functions of the spreadsheets in SierraChart integrated with those of Excel?
Thanks for your attention
Antonino

Sierra Chart will not be adding the financial functions to the built-in Spreadsheets and we do not recommend using the feature to link Sierra Chart to Excel.

We cannot provide any further help on this subject.
