Hello,

I just had a losing position in emini Dow Jones because my prepaid SC data are delayed. I didn´t notice they are delayed until I entered in the position and was filled in blank space.

How are we going to solve this?

Another trade and it is even worse. I enter at prices where the market shouldn´t be and I cannot manage the position because I can´t see the prices. First I entered at the current low in YM in long, but I found out that my position is in blank space where the market didn´t move yet. I was forced to cancel in this position (-$34.04). Then I entered short at the current high in NQ and again I couldn´t even close the position because the market was trading at different prices, so I cancelled for Flatten at which point my tightened SL was filled (price not there yet) causing the platform to enter another long position. This problem of yours costed me $137.10 in total and I am not talking about the couple of $ hundreds of profits.

If I knew, I wouldn't be trading. I restarted both Sierra and my broker's platform and it seemed to be ok. I realized the charts are off just when I was filled.

We are looking into this problem but at the moment we are not observing a delay.

For more information about the problem this morning, refer to this posting here:
data delay

Also regarding the details in post 2 about trading, none of those are relevant to us. We just need to be aware that there is a data delay. You should stop trading and refer to another source of quotes if there is a data delay. You can determine the extent of the data delay by looking at the time along the top line of the chart and comparing that to the current time.

I would like to get refunded for my loses today (just 137.10 USD, even when I could make couple of hundreds USD with both entries). I will settle for a refund in Sierra usage time (5 months). Please add the usage time to my account. Thanx.

We cannot do that. Sierra Chart is not responsible for trading losses. Under no circumstances, would any technology provider make a refund related to trading losses under these conditions. This is a standard agreement.

We could refund the value of the data feed for one day as usage time credit to your account. We will add 2 days of credit to your Sierra Chart account.

As we suspected, this problem was an external ISP problem. It was not with the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed itself.

That is great. Now that is totally different story because I care so much WHY my data feed is delayed.
