Hi

Just for clarity am I right in doing the following:

1x SC Instance for SC Historical (Used for Futures historical Data)
1x SC Instance for AMP Real-time (Used for real-time/DOM and Execution)
1x SC Instance for SC Market Stats
1x SC Instance for LMAX Trading (Used for real-time/DOM and execution on FX)
1x SC Instance for FXCM Data (Used for Historical on FX)

Is this the correct approach?

I assume then people would only take your real-time exchange data feed if they are not executing on SC?

Thanks Adam

1x SC Instance for SC Historical (Used for Futures historical Data)
This is fine but in some cases this data is used anyway for many of the supported trading services.

1x SC Instance for AMP Real-time (Used for real-time/DOM and Execution)
This is fine.

1x SC Instance for SC Market Stats
You do not need another instance of Sierra Chart for this. This data is available when using all supported Data and Trading services. Refer to this page:
Sierra Chart Market Statistics

1x SC Instance for LMAX Trading (Used for real-time/DOM and execution on FX)
This is fine.

1x SC Instance for FXCM Data (Used for Historical on FX)
This is fine. Also the FXCM Forex data will be provided in the same instance when using any of the supported Trading services. This is supported in the latest prerelease. But there is some further implementation needed by us.

I assume then people would only take your real-time exchange data feed if they are not executing on SC?
Yes. This is one reason. The other reason is better quality data compared to the data feed from the Trading service they are using.

Last question on this.

i assume also if im using your live data you are backfilling with the historical so its an instance less needed?

So we could operate all Data down one instance

Yes when using the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed, you do not need to use another copy of Sierra Chart for historical data. That data is provided with the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed and it is completely accurate.
