upgraded to 1281 - it also does it. When it happens: i open sc, wait till everything is opened, right click on any graph to get the right=click menu, then the controlbar steals the focus closing my right click menu. it happens frequently but not all the time. it doesn't seem to be connected to the status bar DF:#### numbers updating. i dont think an image will help you figure this out so not included |

What makes you think it is the Control Bar doing this and taking the focus? Does anyone else see this? Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. because the control bar becomes the active window each time - though that doesnt nec mean it is the agent, just that it receives the focus each time

How can you tell the control bar becomes active? This is not something that we would even be able to tell ourselves without checking this using a program called Spy++ unless the watchlist on the Control Bar were to get the focus.

aah -- the watchlist - you figured it out. when i right click on a new chart, then the watchlist for that window - which is on the control bar - becomes active, switches instruments, and the control bar grabs the focus. If i right click a second time on the same chart, then there is no problem. i have four charts open side by side with different watch lists for each but only one control bar. ok, now that i understand why, will you be fixing it? its not really that bothersome but... |

We have an idea why this might be happening and will be solved in the next release.

Are floating toolbars able to stay visible when the main window is minimized?
|
[2015-08-21 10:57:25] |
|
No they do not because they are owned by the main window or a chart window, and when the owner window is minimized, the operating system will hide them. This cannot be changed.
