aah -- the watchlist - you figured it out. when i right click on a new chart, then the watchlist for that window - which is on the control bar - becomes active, switches instruments, and the control bar grabs the focus. If i right click a second time on the same chart, then there is no problem. i have four charts open side by side with different watch lists for each but only one control bar. ok, now that i understand why, will you be fixing it? its not really that bothersome but...
