I have Time-Warner internet 'service' and it disconnects every few minutes for a second or two. 30+ interruption per hour.

The alert sounds each time the service is disconnected and reconnected. As well there should be.

Is there an option to turn off the alert other than turn off the speakers?

Thanks
JD

Do you want to temporarily just mute all alert sounds from Sierra Chart?

Hi
Thanks for getting back to me.

I apologize for being inarticulate in stating specifically what I want to achieve.

The only alert sound and email I want to prevent (no longer have to hear) is the one caused by my unfortunate internet provider's brief (less than a second) lapses of connection that occur all day long.

I've attached an image of the Alerts Log that show the sound what I want to eliminate. As you'll see, the grand majority of the alerts in the log are caused by the brief internet disconnection and reconnection. The first 2-entries happen all day long. Their occurrence is my problem but I really would like to remove the audio and email.

Hoping this is more clear.

Thanks
JD

You have to disable the alerts altogether for server connections and disconnections. This is done through Global Settings >> General Settings >> General 2. Set the Server Alert settings to No Alert.
