Hi Thanks for getting back to me. I apologize for being inarticulate in stating specifically what I want to achieve. The only alert sound and email I want to prevent (no longer have to hear) is the one caused by my unfortunate internet provider's brief (less than a second) lapses of connection that occur all day long. I've attached an image of the Alerts Log that show the sound what I want to eliminate. As you'll see, the grand majority of the alerts in the log are caused by the brief internet disconnection and reconnection. The first 2-entries happen all day long. Their occurrence is my problem but I really would like to remove the audio and email. Hoping this is more clear. Thanks JD
