Hi,

If I need to open a new chart, no matter what symbol the chart has to reload constantly (screen flashes when it reloads), so it's reloading even if I set the number of days to load as 3. I've disconnected and reconnected, still have the same issue. It is not an issue if the chart has already been open for an instrument.

What I see it doing is switching between 5 min and 60 min timeframes repeatedly.

I'm not using difference or ratio indicators. No longer having issues with 6B, only 6E is constantly reloading and changing timeframes.

I removed one of my charts and 6E works fine now, no more reloading. Strange.

The question is what are the studies being used on other charts which are referencing the chart that continuously reloads.

I removed one of my charts and 6E works fine now, no more reloading. Strange.
This makes complete sense to us.

I don't understand, why does it make sense to you? The screenshot I shared showed the indicators I used on 6E, I am still using the same ones as before but now I have one less chart, I took off the ES chart. Was the problem due to system resources? I am using an i7-4700 HQ processor and have 32 gb of RAM.

It is too late now, but if you needed further help, we will need to get the Chartbook to determine which study is causing the problem.

This is from help topic 30.3:

If a chart is reloading itself often, then this is because it is being referenced by 2 or more charts, that contain a study that refer to other charts. In this case, each of the charts that is referencing the chart that is reloading often, has different Chart Settings.
