Hi

I understand how holding teh Ctrl key and mouse on the proce action will move the chart

Is there a way to reset the chart to:

1.The most recent price action
2. So that all analaysis techniques are included on the screen.

At the moment I find myself having to repeatedly move the chart around to see what I want using the Ctrl function

Thanks in advacne

1. Pressing the End key on the Keyboard will take you to the end of the chart showing most recent price.

2.
So that all analaysis techniques are included on the screen.
It is not clear what is meant by this.

hi
with the hand tool you are able to move the chart horizontally, is there a similar function that will allow the chart to be moved vertically using the hand tool

At the moment I am having to hold the ctrl key and then click on the vertical axis( price) to accomplish this and its tedious

Thanks in advance

This is possible by enabling Vertical Scaling for the Hand tool. Refer to the documentation for this here:

Go to the Additional Files page:
Additional Files (Study Collections, Spreadsheets, Chartbooks)

There is a study collection named High and Low Bar Values which does what you want.

Regarding post #12, we did not upload the Additional Files page. This has now been done.

So you would not have seen the file we mentioned. If you go back to that page and reload it in your web browser, you will now see the file.

This is generally an indication of a hardware problem on your system.

A program like Sierra Chart which runs like a normal program using standard operating system functions, cannot cause a computer to restart. It is technically not possible.

Check all of the hardware on your computer. Especially the memory and the hard drive or solid-state drive.

To reduce CPU usage by Sierra Chart, refer to help topic 30:

Also Sierra Chart does not provide high CPU usage warnings. We are not sure what you are referring to.

Also refer to help topic 17:

Hi

I am trying to add a symbol other than the options available of Triangle up, triangle down etc

Is there a way new symbols or arrow types can be imported

Also how does the custom text feature work?

Thanks

Also whenever I use the text setting, there is a black background that surrounds the text, this sometimes obscures other indicators

How do I get rid of the black background

Thanks

Draw Styles that are not listed cannot be added.

Custom Text is for special purposes for use by ACSIL to get certain settings:
