Yes. You need to use the Volume by Price study for this. Refer to the particular steps here for this: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_VolumeByPrice.html#CalculatingDisplayingDevelopingPOCVALHLLines You need to set the Volume Graph Period Type to One Period of Fixed Bar Count. This is not supported: I want to retain those historical plotted values on the chart even if it is reloaded.

We apologize for that, we will get this resolved. For now, here are the direct links: You need to set the Volume Graph Period Type to One Period of Fixed Bar Count. This is not supported:
I want to retain those historical plotted values on the chart even if it is reloaded. Hi, is this still the case where historical plotted values cannot be somehow saved and plotted when a chart is reloaded? Not sure why it clears the chart on reload. There is an indicator in NT8 that does this, essentially plotting value/VAH/VAL as a continuous line from data that looks back a set # periods. Code available in the 2nd to last post with link here: https://ninjatrader.com/support/forum/forum/ninjascript-file-sharing/ninjascript-file-sharing-discussion/4590-calculate-value-area-of-volume-at-price/page12?postcount=143 What advice do you have when attempting to import this C# code into SC? |

There's no One Period of Fixed Bar Count under the Volume Graph Period Type. Are you referring to One Period Based On Bar Count? |
