Hi there, i tried putting on the Bill williams fractals indicator and it misses alot of the fractals so its not really accurate.

IS there another one that you have or can add please?

Any help from anyone would be appreciated.

cheers Nic

How do you define a fractal Nic?

if the fractal is above then 2 lower highs to the iether side of the high. and if its below then 2 higher highs to iether side of the lowest bar.

P.s while we are talking for some reasomn yesterday my chart is just freezing and lagging very badly. i tried delteling mist of my charts, nothing else on my pc is freezing just sierra. then this morning i logged in then it was fine for about 20 seconds then just froze up on me. i tried downloading new version but no success?

Nic, in SC studies there's an indicator called Swing High and Low. There you can adjust the "Length" (= requirement of how many bars to the left and right to define a fractal / swing point).

I've also attached a dll with my swing-point indicator. Here a swing-point is defined as described by you above. But if there are tied / equal highs / lows, they are handled as merged together.
In case you want to use mine, copy the dll into your SC\data folder. You'll then find the swing-point indicator under Add Custom Study.

Regarding your freezing / lagging issues, you might want to open a new thread in the forum. The SC folks will sure try to help you with that.

Hi Tobi,

First, thank you so much for your fractal marker.

Is there any way to adjust the length in your indicator ?

Hi Acro,

no this is not possible. You would have to change the attached code.
In case you can't code yourself, see if the programmer Onn (onn@trade29.com) has time to do the changes you require (you'll have to pay your this).
