Charts for CBOT, COMEX & NYMEX not updating

I have the bundled service from my broker that provides data to SC for the CME CBOT, COMEX & NYMEX. I can see from my trading platform that the data is updating correctly. I can open charts for various symbols in all of these exchanges and they show pricing data. However the CBOT, COMEX & NYMEX exchanges will not update in real time. I have to disconnect SC and reconnect in order to get any updated pricing data. Can you please advise how to fix. Thanks Aaron |

Thanks for the quick reply. Having looked a little deeper what I discovered was the problem is the limit of 5 symbols open at any given time from the OEC data feed. It just so happened I always opened CME symbols first. That brings me to another question, if I was to obtain the data from SC I see that I can have up to 100 symbols open at once. Will the data be quicker if I get it directly via SC instead of routing via OEC? Thanks Aaron |

When the market is active, the Sierra Chart data feed definitely will be faster than OEC. And when it is less active, the difference probably would not be noticeable.
