Hi Guys

Dont you think this feature would be really cool on the charting screen to navigate around the chart.

SC is totally awsom but I did find that simply wanting to navigate around the chart was almost like a task on its own?

Cheers

Hi

Thanks for the quick response.

Yes I see you can use the hand function for left - right movement but it would be cool to be able to left click the screen and move chart in any direction dont you think? As it stands you can move left - right but then you still have to go to the edge to move the chart vertically?

Just my thoughts on the matter, Im sure others would use this feature.

All the best and keep up the good work )

Once again, refer to the documentation for the Hand tool:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_Tools.html#Hand

It can be set up to do what you want.

The Hand Tool is used so often it should be visible on the Tool Bar next to the Pointer and Crosshairs by default. The Hand Tool is itself a pointer which makes the Pointer kind of unnecessary. Please consider as update. Thanks.
Note: The Hand Tool can be added to charts right-click via Global Settings → Customize Chart Shortcut Menu → Hand → Add->>. Move Hand Tool up or down the menu as required.

You can customize a ToolBar through Global Settings >> Customize Toolbars.

Is it necessary to have the Hand tool for moving the bars? It is not very smooth to have to turn off the Cursor to turn on the Hand tool when you want to adjust the orientation of the chart data, just to have to turn the cursor back on. It seems it is pretty common on charting software to have left mouse-button hold-down always available to move bars in all directions, independent of cursor on/off state.

Also, the toolbars disappear when you use detached charts with the main window minimized. Is that fix planned for an upcoming build?
