I have the same settings for all my VBP's. I have them set to draw multiple profiles fixed by time (1 year, 1 quarter, and 1 month, 1 week, and 1 day) The profiles for the year look normal, as do the ones for 1 day; but the profiles for qtr, month, week all look very toothy and spotty. See image http://i.imgur.com/3A5LbNC.png Any tips? |

Here's a weekly. I think the problem may be simply that when there is a ridiculous amount of volume done at one price level (which i seriously doubt should be recorded as normal trading volume) it skews the other prices so badly that they become not easily visible. http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1425923126452.png |

OK, we misunderstood. We thought you were looking at a weekly bar chart with the Volume by Price study but instead you are referring to a weekly Volume Profile. Have a look at the Volume Filter to filter out large volume trades: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_ChartSettings.html#VolumeFilterH Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
