Hi

I have an OEC futures and forex account. The futures and forex account have different account numbers, but the same login and password.

I wanted to use Sierra Chart to trade my OEC forex account. In the data/trade service settings I changed the account to my Forex account number and tried placing a sell order on EUR/USD and got the following reject message:

Trade Order Error - OEC order update (Rejected). Text: Unknown contract Unknown symbol. Internal Order ID: 18275. Service Order ID: OECFIX:635590296273708938:7649. Symbol: EUR/USD | 2015-02-09 13:30:57 *

In the Trade Account setting for OEC you can enter multiple accounts separated by a comma character.

And then you can select a specific account through the Trade Window:

Could you ask OEC about this particular error text:
Unknown contract Unknown symbol.

And tell them what Trade Account you are using and symbol. From our perspective, it should work as long as the Account is correct.

Ok I sent them an email about it. I noticed that the EUR/USD chart is not getting data from OEC, but instead is using Sierra Chart for data. I found this reject message

Symbol Error - EUR/USD is unknown, unavailable, or improperly formatted. FIX reject reason: Data feed is not entitled | 2015-02-09 17:35:53

I'll email them about this as well.
