Can't select drawn VbP sometimes

The option is enabled -- why is it sometimes on charts I can select them, sometimes I cannot? Has anyone else noticed this? Edit: SC, please delete this thread if you like. The reason is that "Hide Chart Drawings" was selected and this prevents drawn VbP from being selected. When I show them again, I can select them as expected.
