Individual volume profile bars

I currently use the free trial with historical (intraday) data for the ES (S&P 500) future. The other day I wanted to try out chart bars with Volume Profile for each individual chart bar as shown on http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_VolumeByPrice.html (bottom end) and followed the instructions given. Unfortunately the bars were not indicated as shown on this image but fairly messed up (overlapping). Is it possible that individual volume profile bars only work with real time data? You just need to increase the spacing between the chart bars.
