Hello, Windows updated and restarted my computer and I hadn't saved my chartbook for a a week or so. I followed the instructions for finding the backup chart but when I move up a folder in windows like you suggested I don't see the back up charts. All I am seeing is 7 folders. ACS Source, AlertSounds, Data, NPP, RIM, Temp, Transact. I am basically looking for the chart book from before todays restart like yesterday for example. Can I access this considering I haven't saved the chartbook lately. Thanks. |

There will not be any more recent backup if you did not save your Chartbook for a week unless you set Sierra Chart to automatically save the Chartbook. There is an option for this in Global Settings >> General Settings. Also you must be running a version that does not use the Backup folder if you do not see that folder. If you go to to File >> Open Chartbook and set the File Type to Backup Chartbook Files, you will see backup Chartbooks which you can open.
