Hello, I just started a new trial, and need to decide on which package to choose. My only goal with Sierra Chart at the moment is to view volume profiles based on tick data for longer term charts (daily or 4h time frame, going back several quarters on continuous back-adjusted contracts for ES NQ, volume profile displayed for the entire visible range and not based on intermediate periods within). Which is the bare min package (+ data feed) that would suffice ? Date Time Of Last Edit: 2026-09-07 18:29:41

You will only need Service Package 3 for this: Description of Service Packages and Pricing: Base Packages Volume profiles must always be based on Intraday data for high accuracy but you can make Daily charts from Intraday data: Chart Session Times: Creating Daily Bars with Custom Session Times Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Thanks. And aside from service pack 3, I won't need any additional data feeds right ? The incl. sierra chart historical data service should suffice ? I don't need real-time / streaming data, I just need historical tick data for the volume profiles going back several qtrs on ES NQ. I was able to get high resolution volume profiles from the trial version's historical data service (intraday to daily time frames), and I understand that the trial version has limited history |

Since you just need the historical data, you do not need anything other than that package. You will have access to all our historical data. Refer to the following: Sierra Chart Historical Data Service For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
