Hi, this feature is great thanks for adding this, but it does not seem to work. I have the zigzag study on the chart and have it referenced in volume by price but i only have one profile study that starts to the amount of days i have it set at. Thank You |

In order for this to work there two things you need ensure are setup: 1. The Volume by Price study is below the Zig Zag study in the list of studies to graph. 2. The Zig Zag study needs to have the "Display HH, HL, LL, LH Labels" set to "Yes". With regards to #2, we are looking into whether this requirement will stay this way. Volume by Price "Based on Zig Zag Study": only one profile, no profiles at zig zag reversals (v2957) Volume by Price with Volume Graph Period Type = "Based on Zig Zag Study" suddenly stopped creating profiles at the zig zag reversals. It now draws only one profile starting at the beginning of the trading day. It worked correctly earlier the same day (2026-09-29) and stopped between 15:45 and 17:00 CET without any settings change. Chart: NQZ26-CME, intraday. The Zig Zag study (ID 6) displays its reversals correctly. Zig Zag: Calculation Mode 3, Reversal Amount 25/30, Calculate New Values On Bar Close = Yes, Reset At Start Of Trading Day = No, Display HH,HL,LL,LH Labels = Yes. Volume by Price (ID 13): Based On = Main Price Graph, Zig Zag Study Reference = Zig Zag ID 6, Number Of Days To Calculate = 3 (also tried 0), Ticks Per Volume Bar = 4. Zig Zag is above Volume by Price in Studies to Graph. Tried: Chart >> Reload and Recalculate, a duplicate chart without other custom studies, and updating from 2953 to 2957. Nothing helped. |

We are not seeing any issue with the Volume by Price based on a Zig Zag. We are able to reproduce this, and what we see is that it is due to the Input for "Number of Days to Calculate Volume Profiles". When this is set to a value of 3 or higher, then the Volume by Price study is not using the Zig Zag study, but is instead showing a single profile. We know you said that you tried setting the "Number of Days to Calculate Volume Profiles" to "0", but please try this again and let us know if it works or not. We hope that you can use this as a workaround until Engineering can look into this further. We never considered the use of "Number of Days to Calculate Volume Profiles" when the Volume by Price study is based on the zigzag study. So keep that set to 0. Setting Number of Days to Calculate to 0 does not fix it. The problem appears when I use a higher Reversal Amount for Calculation Mode 2/3. Last time, a Reversal Amount of 25 worked and 30 did not. Now values below 60 work, and anything above that does not. I normally use Calculation Mode 2, but with Mode 2 nothing works at all, even though it worked fine at first. I don't know what changed. |

In the most recent images you supplied, you have the "Number of Days to Calculate Volume Profiles" set to "3". Make sure this is set to "0" and let us know if you still have a problem. When we try a Zig Zag with Calculation Mode of 3 and a Reversal Amount of 60, the Volume by Price works fine as long as the Number of Days to Calculate is set to 0. Great addition! Would it be possible to add in a future update the option to only have 1 volume profile at the end, similar to how its set up for one profile per session?

We have noted this as a Feature Request to have either a control that only displays a single profile for the most current reversal of the Zig Zag, or possibly to have a control over how many reversals to have the profiles calculated for.
