Charts time axis position being reset after minimizing

Hi, The time axis position on charts that aren't on locked fill space is being reset every time to the end of the screen instead of the previous location that it was - it wasn't used to be like it. its very annoying to press the right arrow key to move it back to the position that it was - if u can please set it back to as it used to be where it saves the free space location. |

In trying a few things, we are not able to reproduce this. First, update to the latest release and see if that resolves the issue for you. There have been some changes to how the windows are handled to ensure they come up in the proper order. Although this should not directly affect the location of the bars, we wonder if it is related. its strange, it seemed like it got fixed but some of the charts are getting reset again to the end of the screen after minimizing them. After examing it for a little while it's being reset on a new bar - so when I opened sierra the charts didn't reset to the end of the screen but while sierra is opened each new bar resets it Date Time Of Last Edit: 2026-08-24 15:46:14

If I move the bars with right arrow key so that I can view the last bar in the center instead of the end of the chart and I close and open Sierra - the location of the bars is saved just fine, but if a new bar is formed while I'm on Sierra it resets the last bar location to the end of the screen instead of forming a new bar normally in the location where it was last Date Time Of Last Edit: 2026-08-25 14:05:09

It should definitely not be moving the bars when a new bar is added. If the most current bar is in the middle of the graph area and a new bar is added, that new bar should be placed to the right of the previous most recent bar. And so on. So it will fill to the right. Although, there is the following setting that changes this behavior: General Settings Window: Allow New Data In Unlocked Fill Space (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Charts >> Charts) But in either case, the bars should not "jump" to the right hand side when a new bar is added. If you are still seeing this, then please get us a "before" and "after" set of images where you have the chart initially set and then after the bars move to the right.
