I know you dont support TWS. But FYI as best I can tell this has happened today after TWS update. I solved with bare symbol (eg ???) Trade/Quote symbol = ?????-STK-SMART-USD Yesterday I didn't need that. TWS build 10.45.1j (built Aug 5 2026, via auto-update), all stock orders submitted from Sierra Chart using plain US stock symbols are rejected. Sierra only shows "Trading server did not acknowledge new order" and internally cancels; no error reaches the Trade Orders window. TWS's API log shows the actual rejection. Sierra's placeOrder message contains no currency: [3;22;;WDC;STK;;;;;SMART;;;;;;;BUY;222;LMT;350.00;0.0;GTC;;DUR252108;;0;;1;;0;0;0;0;0;0;;;;;;;;;;0;;;3;;;0;;;0;0;1.7976931348623157e+308;0;;;;;;0;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;0;0;;;0;;0;0;0;0;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;20260807-06:53:20;]
02:53:20:988 (sync 02:53:20:285) -> [4;2;22;200;The contract description specified for WDC is ambiguous; you must specify the currency.;] It seems that earlier TWS builds (10.45.1i and before) defaulted the blank currency to USD SC documentation still references a "Default Currency Code" service setting on the Interactive Brokers page, but that setting no longer exists as far as I can find.
