Hi,

I'm having issues with my replay where the charts randomly crash and freeze. It varies sometimes it's one window and other times it can be two windows. It's frustrating having to reset my replays every time with this. I tried to simplify some of the charts but still having this problem. Also I notice sometimes I have orders that stay even when I try to cancel all or if it's randomly executed I try to flatten and cancel all orders, but then they still pop up. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I've attached my chartbook for reference.

Thanks in advance =)

What kind of replay are you running? What are the settings for the replay?

Does the system actually crash? Does Sierra Chart completely close? Or is it just pausing during the replay?

With regards to the orders, if you do not clear the trades for the symbol and account when you replay the chart, then you will see the orders show up in the chart at the time that is shown by the order fills for that chart.

Yes, you need to clear the order fills first:

With regards to the orders, if you do not clear the trades for the symbol and account when you replay the chart, then you will see the orders show up in the chart at the time that is shown by the order fills for that chart.

Hi John,

Thanks for getting back to me, I attached the settings I have selected when I start my replay. Basically 1 or 2 out of the 3 windows will freeze and I'll try to just wait to see if it's still buffering data etc, but they're just frozen. However, I can move the 3rd chart that is not frozen so I'm not sure why only specific charts are freezing up.

One of the items that we see is that you have the option for "Skip Empty Periods" enabled. When replaying multiple charts, this will cause the charts to become out of sync. Refer to the following:
Replaying Charts: Skip Empty Periods

Please disable that option.

The other item of note is that you are starting the replay from a set date/time. Make sure all the charts have data loaded going back to that time.
