Font rendering for monospaced fonts seems to be off

Please see attached screenshots.

I'm using Courier New, but have the same issue with Consolas.

It seems that when rendering a label, different characters take up different space on screen which is problematic for monospaced fonts.

I'd expect '...' to take the same space in a monospaced font as '>>>'

Is there a setting I have to change to get monospaced fonts to render correctly?

Thanks

What is "Global Settings >> Graphics Settings - Other >> OpenGL >> Use OpenGL for Chart Graphics" set to?

Note that the path we give above is for the latest releases, if you are on an older release, then it will be on the "Other" tab in the Graphics Settings.

OK, turning it off, I see it is rendered properly. This is annoying because SC is very slow for me without the GL-related hardware acceleration.

Any workarounds you can suggest?

Edit: it seems the only workaround is to not use such characters in a way that it can impact alignment.

Edit2: nevermind, seems like I can't even do that. See attached for a comprehensive test

Edit 3: attached opengl on/off examples.

We have sent this thread to Engineering to look into and see if they can do anything about this.
