Could ssd speed things up besides loading data?

I currently run multiple copies of sierrachart on a pc with 4770k, 16gb of ram and a few 1tb hdd. If I load too many days of data onto the charts, the memory usage would go up to 80%. Buttons and functions on sierrachart become less responsive, with noticeable delay between the response and the moment I click on something. Possibly, bars update slower too, although CPU usage is less than 30%.

To solve the above issue, should I get a ssd or more ram?

An SSD will not reduce memory usage. However, we do highly recommend using SSDs.

Refer to help topic 30 here for some additional information:
High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often

I have made some adjustment, the memory usage is down to 50%.
I look at the cpu usage more carefully, it's moving between 20% to 50%.
I don't have ssd. The hdd usage is between 0% to 20%.
(please see images in attachment for detail)

I have 6 copies of sierrachart opened. 2 of them are very responsive and fast. However, the other 4 copies, that have more days of data and studies to process are less responsive, price bars update slower than they should.

Please tell me what hardware should I upgrade in order to make all copies of sierrachart to run as fast as they could.

The first thing we recommend is using SSDs.
