Disabling the pop up log window

Hello,

I really would like to be able to disable the popping up message log that comes up at all times for no reason.

I'm not talking about disconnecting. I would like to prevent the wondow from popping up and then, if I want to read the log I would go find it myself.

Is this possible?

Easiest solution is to keep it open, but adjusted to minimal size and hidden out of view, this way it won't pop up.

Even minimized it keeps popping up with every connection delay or interruption.

I would like to submit this as a feature request to modify the software.

It's possible that mine is the sentiment of most SC users.

We need to understand the reason why it is opening in your case.

The lines that cause the message log to open have an asterisk at the end of them. Copy and post one of those messages here.

Also you do not want to minimize it, but to move it off towards the bottom of the screen instead.

I'd add to this old request to disable the TSL from popping up. It causes my Windows task bar to come onto the screen and the SC icon to flash at me, right when I am trying to trade.

The cause:

"Unable to Flatten or Reverse because a Position does not exist..."

I have a keyboard shortcut for "Flatten and Cancel". I use it to cancel working orders as well. I'd rather not have a separate "Cancel" button for use when I have no position. It is a different topic, but "Flatten and/or Cancel" is a useful shortcut command.

You just need to enable this option:
General Settings Window: Never Automatically Open Message Log or Trade Service Log (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Log >> Log)
