i am running two seperate pc's with the same chars one pc is using rithmic and the other is using denali and the es value area calulcation is ifferent for the current developing day.....and i am confused as to why...i confimed with a freind my ritmic value are matches his and he is using denali...so that means my denali pc is wrong...but i checked the settings for the study and chart settings for time match what else could be affecting the caluclualtion?

If you are actually getting data from different sources (Denali on one and Rithmic on another), then the issue could be related to the underlying data. In that there could be differences in the data itself and this is giving you different values. Otherwise, you would need to check your Chart Settings and Study Settings, to make sure that everything is the same. If you are using the same data, but getting differences, then this means that there is something different between the charts. ok so i checked the chart settings and the study settings between my two machines and they are not different.... i also compare my one pc that has the denali feed to a friends denali fed pc, and we have the same chart settings and studies settings....we are getting two different results.... can any global settings affect it

The easiest way to see where the difference may be is to take the chartbook from one computer to the other and see how the studies compare in that situation. If they are different, then there is something the study or the Chart Settings. If they are the same, then there is something either about the data or some other setting (such as the Intraday Storage Time Unit).
