Hey, I had a few questions regarding SIM accounts. 1. Can I create multiple SIM accounts? 2. If so, can I rename/customize the names of the SIM accounts? 3. Is there a way to manually add or set an account balance/equity amount so I can track progress as if it were a funded account? 4. While trading on the SIM account, will all trades still appear in the Trade Activity Log with full transaction history/details just like a normal account? I’m mainly trying to use separate SIM accounts to track performance and review execution history accurately. Thanks! |

1. Yes. Refer to the following: Global Trade Settings Windows: Number of Simulation Accounts (Global Settings >> General Trade Settings >> General) 2. No. They all use the same format (Sim1, Sim2, Sim3, etc.) 3. Not in the built-in Simulation Mode for Sierra Chart. 4. Yes. But, given what you are stating and asking, you would be better served to use the "Simulated Futures Trading Service". Refer to the following: Simulated Futures Trading Service In this case, the answers are the following: 1. Yes 2. Yes. You control the names of all the accounts 3. Yes. 4. Yes. When running a Replay, you are always in Simulation Mode, and can only use the built-in Simulation accounts (Sim1, etc.).

Hi, I currently use Sierra Chart with Rithmic connectivity and Denali data. My goal is to use a single low-size “process” account as a lead account for a trade copier (TradeSyncer), while follower accounts copy the trades. I originally planned to use a Sierra simulated futures account as the lead account, but TradeSyncer support told me they can only copy from Rithmic-connected accounts. So I want to clarify: 1. Is there any way for a Sierra simulated futures trading account to route through or be recognized as a Rithmic-connected account externally? 2. If not, is the only option to use an actual Rithmic-connected funded/live account as the lead account? 3. Is there any Sierra Chart feature that would allow: * trading from a single low-size account/interface, * while externally routing/copying trades through Rithmic-connected accounts? My goal is to simplify execution and focus on process while copying trades to other accounts. Thank you. |

1. Nothing that is already built into the system. We do not know anything about TradeSyncer, so we do not know what they are looking for. You would have to see if there is something you can build in a custom study to get what they need from the system. Refer to the following: Advanced Custom Study Interface and Language (ACSIL): Introduction https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartStudyAndSystemProgrammers.php 2. That is something you need to work out with TradeSyncer. 3. Again, this is something that you need to work out with how TradeSyncer works. So I’ll check in with them but just to confirm the simulated futures trading uses Denali or rithmic? If not is there a way to use rithmic?

The data that is used depends on what service you are connected to and what data you have setup. So, if you are connected to Rithmic and setup to get Rithmic data, which means you are NOT setup to get Denali data, then you will get the Rithmic data regardless of whether you are in Simulation Mode or not. If you are connected to Rithmic, and are setup to get Denali data, then you will get the Denali data regardless of whether you are in Simulation Mode or not. If you want to use our "Simulated Futures Trading Service", then this only works with our data. But you can use our Delayed Streaming Data with it (there is an option for the delayed data). But if you want real-time data with that service, then it has to come from our Denali Exchange Data Feed, as you are connected to one of our services at that time.
