I would not like the hand tool or chart values tool to remain in place on one chart when I move to another. I am not looking for it to move around in sync across all charts in said chartbook either, so its not the symbol/global cursor input im looking for. Any help is appreciated. I have been using the software for months now and hate to bother any busy engineers, but I cannot figure this out for the life of me.

We think you are looking for this setting: Chart Drawing Tools: Hide Chart Values Tool when Pointer not Over Chart (Tool Settings >> Chart Values >> Chart Values) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

I switched the setting to yes. Now, the tools are hidden across all charts when I drag the pointer to the edges of my screen. But, when the pointer is hovered over any given window, it still displays the Crosshair on all windows on-screen in said chartbook.

It sounds like you have "Tools >> Global Cursor On" enabled. You will want to disable this option. Refer to the following: Chart Drawing Tools: Global Cursor (Tools >> Global Cursor On) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
