Hi I'm currently working on a spreadsheet that gives me the Prem levels using the formula =ScStudyValue(24,2,"Close",0) in cell K3 I then use Chart #12 to pull the closing price for SPX500 using formula: =ScStudyValue(12,2,"Close",0) to be inserted into cell L3 my spreadsheet study keeps giving me #NAME? error code, I've doubled checked my Overlay Study on both charts and I've confirmed it's not a wrong chart # or ID. I believe SierraChart doesn't like the =ScStudyValue function? I've also tried K3 = SC_StudyValue(24,2,"Close",0), and L3 = SC_StudyValue(12,2,"Close",0), with no luck. Can you help me figure out how to populate K3 and L3 correctly?

I'm sorry but your response doesn't tell me anything or help me figure out what specific function will work? Can you be more specific?

You are using a function called "ScStudyValue()". This is not a valid function.

=ScStudyValue(12,2,"Close",0)
Not only are you using a non-existent Spreadsheet Function, you are using an unknown syntax. The 'Study/Price Overlay' study has its own outputs which appear in columns AA and above. You should be able to access the Close (Last) value there. If this doesn't solve your problem, you'll need to describe specifically what you are trying to do. |
