Getting accurate info for MES but not ES

For the study Prev. Value Area (Volume Area Lines) to have pVPOC displayed on my chart, I get accurate data only if MESm26 is the symbol with Continuous Futures Contract - Volume Based Rollover, Back Adjusted However when I use ESM26, I do not get the accurate pVPOC (it is about 10 points higher) I have tried various fields in the Continuous Contract (List) to no avail. I would like to have ES charts as they have more volume... please advise as to what I need to adjust. Thank you. |

Why do you state that Previous Volume Point of Control for ES that is different from MES is wrong? These are two different products, so they could have these differences.

If both their values are the same, ie, they're both showing 7163, why should the pVPOC have a 10 point difference? The values on Monday, where the pVPOC is derived from, are the same as well. MES is showing pVPOC is 7195 --- which is correct. ES is showing pVPOC is 7206, which is incorrect. It appears ES is not extracting data from the previous day, which correctly shows pVPOC at 7195. I've attached screenshots - ES has the correct value on the previous day, but not today. |

Please get us those charts so we can take a look. But chances are that these are correct values. The trading on these two product is similar, but not exactly the same. So there can/will be differences between them.
