Problem updating to new 2899 version

I was having issues seeing the PAVT Sierra Chart custom indicator, I reached out to the guy and he said that I had to download the newest version of sierra chart and I did and it shows that it downloads fine and it says it's the 2899 version, but once I open Sierra Chart I have the 2898 64-bit (R. 56299) version, I have read through the troubleshooting page and have made sure to remove the Save mode, I also created a Zip folder and got the 2901 prerelease version and the indicator doesn't work there either. I don't remember what version I was running to put a previous version, I have tied installing the previous version but it keeps going back and forth from 2898 and 2901.
I am running a Mac Silicon computer.
Not sure what I need to do to troubleshoot to get the 2899 Version of Sierra Chart, if I can get some help with this much appreciated.

It does not make any sense that you can not get to version 2899. We just updated to this version to ensure there was nothing occurring with it, but the update went fine, and when we look in "Help >> About" it is properly showing version 2899.

But, you should not specifically need version 2899. The Pre-Release (version 2901) should be fine as well.

If you continue to have an issue with version 2901, then you need to talk to the developer of your study and work through the issues with them.

If you really want to try to update to version 2899, then please select "Help >> Download Current Version". Perform the update, and then after the installation is completed, do NOT close that window - instead select the button in the top right for "Send Log to Support". Then, select the "Close" button to close the updater. If the version is NOT 2899 after the update is done, then let us know you sent the Installer Log so we can take a look at what version got installed.
